These are the Flexidesk’s Rules which may change from time to time and which apply between Flexidesk and the Client in relation to an Office Space.
Accommodation: Upon move-in, Flexidesk requests clients to sign an inventory detailing the permitted accommodation, furniture, and equipment, along with their condition. Additionally, clients receive keys or entry cards.
Signage: Clients must obtain written approval from the Office Space team before placing any signs visible from outside their rooms. Flexidesk reserves the right to charge for signage and specifies its design to maintain consistency with the Center’s aesthetic.
Property: Clients are responsible for the upkeep of all Office Space components, including equipment, fittings, and furnishings, without making alterations.
Keys and Security: All keys and entry cards remain the property of Flexidesk. Clients are prohibited from making copies without consent and must report any losses immediately. Replacement fees are applicable to enhance security measures.
Use: Clients may utilize the office address for business purposes, subject to legal compliance. Proper conduct, attire, and noise levels are expected from employees and guests. Office spaces are strictly for office use and cannot accommodate overnight stays.
Equipment: Clients must obtain prior written consent from Flexidesk before storing or operating certain equipment within the office space. The use of hazardous materials, mechanical amplification devices, or offensive substances is prohibited.
Electrical: The use of electrical current is restricted to lighting, personal computers, and small appliances unless otherwise permitted by Flexidesk. Special installations or wiring require client expense and designated personnel.
Animals: Except for assistance animals, clients are not permitted to bring animals into the office.
Manufacturing and Storage: Clients may not utilize the office space for manufacturing or storing merchandise, except incidentally for general office purposes. Certain prohibited activities include the sale or use of liquor, narcotics, or tobacco.
Locks: Clients are prohibited from installing additional locks or altering existing ones on office doors or windows.
Soliciting: Client solicitation within the office is prohibited without prior written approval from Flexidesk.
Property: Clients are solely responsible for their property, and Flexidesk is not liable for any damages, theft, or misappropriation.
Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all public areas and office spaces.
Harassment: Clients and their associates must refrain from any harassing, discriminatory, or abusive behavior towards Flexidesk staff, other clients, or guests. Violation of this rule may result in immediate termination of services.
Flexidesk’s Service Agreement: The service agreement is subject to transfer by Flexidesk at any time. Clients must notify Flexidesk of any occupancy changes. Additionally, clients must provide necessary documentation and comply with data protection laws.
Company Name Change: Clients seeking to change their company name must submit a written request accompanied by appropriate paperwork to the Manager for processing.
Fraud: Flexidesk reserves the right to suspend services or terminate the agreement in case of suspected fraudulent activity or violation of laws.
Fees: Clients are subject to a fee of BDT 2,000 for any returned cheque or declined payment due to insufficient funds.
Liability: Flexidesk is released from liability for any mail or packages sent or received on the client’s behalf. Clients must collect packages promptly to avoid storage fees.
Force Majeure: Flexidesk is not liable for any delays or inability to perform obligations due to uncontrollable events. Clients will be notified promptly, and alternative accommodations may be proposed if necessary.
Usage Restrictions:’s internet service is to be used solely for lawful purposes. Clients must refrain from any activities that violate state, federal, or international laws, including but not limited to copyright infringement, fraud, and harassment. Clients are responsible for maintaining the security and virus protection of their systems to prevent misuse.
Security Violations: Clients are strictly prohibited from engaging in any activities that compromise system or network security. This includes unauthorized access, hacking, and distributing harmful software. Flexidesk reserves the right to suspend internet access and services in response to security breaches.
Network Access: Internet services provided by Flexidesk are only accessible at designated locations. Clients must not establish connections between Flexidesk’s network and other networks without explicit consent.
Policy Updates: Flexidesk reserves the right to modify this policy at its discretion, with or without prior notice.
Disclaimer: Flexidesk does not guarantee uninterrupted internet service and shall not be held liable for any indirect damages, including lost profits, resulting from service interruptions, regardless of fault. This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Flexidesk bears no responsibility for indirect damages, such as lost profits, stemming from the Service Agreement, even if the other party has been informed of the potential for such damages. This provision applies to the fullest extent allowed by law, irrespective of any negligence or fault on the part of either party.
